The WSN15 series will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of WisSports.net by looking back at the top players, teams, and moments of the past 15 years (2003-2017).

The WSN15 boys' basketball series continues with the Top 15 Teams of the WSN Era.

Three players who would go on to play at the highest level of college basketball made up the core of the 2015-16 Stevens Point Area Senior High basketball team, selected as the top team in the WSN15: Top Teams series which completes its run today.

Those three players -- seniors Trevor Anderson (6-2) and Sam Hauser (6-6) along with sophomore Joey Hauser (6-8) -- led the Panthers to a 28-0 record and the school's second consecutive WIAA Division 1 state championship.

Anderson, a very skilled and mentally strong lead guard who played one season at UW-Green Bay before transferring to Wisconsin, and Sam Hauser, a smooth and smart forward who went on to play at Marquette, shared the Mr. Basketball award presented by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association.

In the Panthers' 89-64 championship-game victory over Muskego, Anderson finished with 20 points, four assists and two steals while Sam Hauser contributed 23 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals.

The dominating victory over Muskego capped remarkable high school careers for Anderson and Sam Hauser, who won four straight Wisconsin Valley Conference titles and two state titles during their four-year careers.

Though just a sophomore Joey Hauser also played an enormous role in the Panthers' success under veteran coach Scott Anderson, Trevor's father and a former standout player himself at Auburndale and UW-Stevens Point.

Joey Hauser had 13 points and four rebounds in the win over Muskego and averaged better than 17 points and seven rebounds during the season. Hauser's father, Dave, was an assistant coach with the team and also enjoyed a strong playing career at Oshkosh West and Minnesota-Duluth.

Senior guards Ted Kearney (6-0) and Jamison Kryshak (5-11) joined the Hausers and Anderson in SPASH's starting rotation while sophomore Drew Blair (6-2) was a key player off the bench.

No team seriously threatened to beat the Panthers as their closest game all season was a 61-52 victory over Sauk Prairie in December.
