Madison Memorial's Chris Knight has been selected as the top senior Post player as part of the WSN Senior Boys Basketball Awards.

While Deontay Long and Michael Foster Jr. do most of the heavy lifting for coach Freddie Riley and Milwaukee Washington on the offensive end of the court, Dinsmore does the dirty work for the Purgolders on the defensive end of the floor.

Dinsmore is a first-team all-Milwaukee City Conference performer who is long, moves well and puts forth strong effort on both ends of the court, traits that have earned him a NCAA Division I scholarship offer from Montana State.

Dinsmore is averaging 11.9 points per game for the Pugolders.

Finalists for the awards were Dinsmore, Logan Krekling of The Prairie School, Eric Reinemann of Howards Grove, Mason Steffen of Waunakee and Cordell Tinch of Bay Port.

Past winners of the award include Chris Knight of Madison Memorial (2017), Kostas Antetokounmpo of Dominican (2016), Dwayne Lawhorn, Jr. of Germantown (2015), Jordan Shea of Lodi (2014), Bronson Koenig of Aquinas (2013), and Zak Showalter of Germantown (2012).

WSN Senior Basketball Awards are selected by WisSports.net staff.
