Prescott senior Peter Brookshaw has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of March 12 through 18 after a vote on WSN. 

There were 983 votes this week; Brookshaw received 529 votes, while Grant Manke of Bangor finished second with 238. 

Brookshaw hit the game-winning three-pointer as time expired to lift Prescott to its first state title in program history, defeating Valders 63-62 in the title game.

He finished with 35 points on 10 of 19 shooting in the championship game, while scoring 34 points on 10 of 20 shooting in the semifinal victory over East Troy.

The senior and North Dakota State baseball recruit finished the season averaging 30.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.7 assists per game for the Cardinals who went 26-2.
