Kimberly sophomore Elsi Twombly has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of March 26 through April 1 after a vote on WSN. 

There were 3,770 votes this week; Twombly received 1,529 of them, while Maddie Gardner of Sun Prairie finished second with 1,456. 

The Papermakers opened their season with a big road non-conference test against six-time defending state champion Catholic Memorial. The only goal of the contest came via Twombly, who knocked home a goal in the 25th minute to help Kimberly to the victory last Thursday.
