The WSN15 series will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of WisSports.net by looking back at the top players, teams, and moments of the past 15 years (2003-2017).

We begin our WSN15 girls' basketball series with the Top 15 Moments of the WSN Era.

Inger Hodgson affected the game in a variety of ways every time she took the court.

The 5-foot-9 guard excelled at scoring, could find the open player, defend and rebound at a high level. All of which were on display in the Barneveld Golden Eagles' 2005 WIAA Division 4 State Tournament at the Kohl Center in Madison.

Barneveld was making its second of three trips to the state tournament during Hodgson's career. In the Golden Eagles' 63-20 win over Assumption, Inger finished with a stat line of 15 points, 9 rebounds, 8 steals, 7 assists and 2 blocks.

The 43-point margin of victory is the largest in Division 4 state tournament history.

A day later in the Division 4 title game, Hodgson put together another impressive performance as she recorded a triple-double with 28 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists to go along with a pair of steals in the Golden Eagles' 72-32 route against Owen-Withee.

Barneveld was already rich in girls' basketball under WBCA Hall of Fame coach Jim Myers at the helm; he finished his career with a state-best 699 wins as the girls' coach. The Golden Eagles had three state titles prior to Hodgson's high school days, but she was the first player in program history to receive a Division I scholarship offer.

Hodgson played collegiately at North Dakota State, finishing her career with 777 career points. Her junior year was her best at NDSU, she started all 29 games and averaged 12.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.9 steals per game en route to earning All-Summit League second team. She also ranked 22nd in three-point shooting in Division I statistics her junior season.
