Beloit Turner senior Kailyn Packard has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of April 23 through 29 after a vote on WSN. 

There were 5,048 votes this week; Packard received 2,121 votes, edging Alexis Betker of Racine Park by just eight votes. 

Packard twirled a no-hitter with 19 strikeouts and hit a home run in the Trojans' 2-0 victory against Jefferson on Tuesday. She also helped Turner defeat Jefferson 20-0 on Thursday and Edgerton 12-0 on Monday.

Packard has four no-hitters and helped combine for another no-hitter this season.

Beloit Turner (15-0, 12-0 in Rock Valley) is the top-ranked team in the WFSCA/WisSports.net Coaches Poll in Division 2.
