Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of April 30 through May 6. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

Cade Christensen, St. Mary's Springs baseball: Christensen helped the Ledgers go 3-0 last week. He went 2-0 on the hill, allowing just one hit with no earned runs with 12 strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. He pitched 4 2/3 of a combined no-hitter against North Fond du Lac on Monday. Cade had a strong week at the plate as well, going 6-for-11 with 4 doubles, a triple and 7 RBI in wins over North Fond du Lac (doubleheader) and Laconia. Christensen is 4-0 on the hill and has a .448 batting average. St. Mary's Springs is 7-2 overall and 6-1 in the Flyway. 

Kati Frierdich, Winneconne girls soccer: Frierdich scored 10 goals and tallied 8 assists last week to lead the Wolves' to a 3-0-1 record. She netted hat tricks in 10-0 wins over Kettle Moraine Lutheran and Berlin, netted 2 goals in a 10-0 win over Campbellsport and scored a pair of goals in a 4-4 tie against Appleton West. Frierdich, a junior, has 20 goals and 11 assists on the season for Winneconne, 8-1-1, ranked No. 4 in the WSCA State Rankings in Division 3. 

Max Hoeser, Madison Memorial baseball: Hoeser helped lead the Spartans to a pair of wins over Sun Prairie (ranked No. 2 last week) He hit the go-ahead single with the bases loaded in the top of the 7th, and then took the hill in the bottom half of the inning and earned the save in the 7-6 victory. On Friday, Hoeser went 2-for-3 in Madison Memorial's 1-0 win over Sun Prairie. The Spartans are 7-4 overall and 6-4 in the Big Eight. 

Kayla Lass, Stevens Point softball: Lass helped the Panthers go 4-0 last week. She went 3-for-5 with a double and 3 RBI in a 14-5 win over Marshfield on Tuesday. Kayla hit a two home runs and collected 5 RBI in win over D1 No. 7 Oak Creek (7-0) and Westosha Central (9-5) at the Poynette Jamboree on Saturday. The junior is hitting .431 with 5 home runs and 25 RBI on the season for D1 No. 2 Stevens Point, 17-0 overall and 7-0 in Wisconsin Valley. 

Becca Oleniczak, Oak Creek softball: Oleniczak led the Knights to a 3-1 record last week. On Tuesday, she twirled a 5-inning no-hitter with 10 strikeouts and hit three home runs in a 10-0 win over Racine Case. Becca also earned wins over Rice Lake (D2 #5) and Kenosha Bradford. The Knights' lone loss came against D1 No. 2 Stevens Point, 7-0, at the Poynette Jamboree on Saturday. Oleniczak, a senior, is 9-2 in the circle on the season with 103 strikeouts, and is hitting .556 with 6 home runs and 18 RBI. Oak Creek is 12-3 overall and 9-0 in the Southeast. The Knights are ranked No. 7 in the latest WFSCA/WisSports.net Coaches Poll in Division 1.
