Stevens Point's Ally Miklesh has been selected as the top senior outfielder as part of the WSN Senior Softball Awards.
Miklesh was named Wisconsin Valley co-Player of the Year as a senior. She carried a .576 batting average and a 1.270 OPS.
Ally finished the year with 57 hits with 4 doubles and 3 triples, and tallied 16 RBI and 35 runs scored. She also recorded 36 stolen bases and was caught just once.
The University of Wisconsin recruit was named first team WFSCA All-State as a sophomore and junior and received second team all-state as a freshman.
Miklesh helped the Panthers reach the state tournament twice in her four years, including winning the Division 1 state title in 2016.
Stevens Point finished the 2018 season with a 27-2 record; both losses came against Chippewa Falls, including a 4-1 loss in a sectional final.
Finalists for the award were Miklesh, Ashwaubenon's Alexa Blasczyk, Madison Memorial's Isabella Curtin, Medford's Mackenzie Fries and Juda/Albany's Hailey Kammerer.
