Girls WBCA All-Star Games: South wins three of the five games

The 41st Annual Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Games were held in Wisconsin Dells on Friday, June 15 at JustAgame Fieldhouse. 

South won three of the five girls WBCA All-Star games. 

Division 1: South 81, North 77

South led by two points at the half and went on to edge the North squad 81-77 in the Division 1 WBCA All-Star Game at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells. Milwaukee King's Tishara Morehouse, a Western Nebraska Community College recruit, scored a game-high 22 points for the South. Arrowhead's Megan Peterson, a Grand Valley State recruit, and Kenosha Indian Trail's Kendall Wilhelmson each tallied 12 points for the South. Stevens Point's Maggie Negaard, a Drake recruit, netted a team-high 15 points for the North. 

Division 2: North 81, South 77

The North squad led by one at the break and topped the South 81-77 in the Division 2 WBCA All-Star Game. Seymour's Hailey Oskey, a UW-Green Bay recruit and Miss Basketball award-winner, scored a game-high 22 points for the North. Milwaukee Vincent's Savanna Crockett, a Cleveland State recruit, netted 18 points for the South. Cudahy's Hannah Kulas, a Grand Valley State recruit, tallied a team-high 17 points for the South. 

Division 3: North 86, South 62

The North cruised to an 86-62 victory against the South in the Division 3 WBCA All-Star Game. Five players scored in double-figures for the North, led by Amherst's Heather Pearson, a UW-Oshkosh recruit, who finished with 14 points. Brillion's Sara Braun added 13 points for the North. Dodgeville's Hannah Jones, a Sioux Falls recruit, scored a game-high 23 points for the South. 

Division 4: South 61, North 59

The South trailed by three points at the break before defeating the North 61-59 in the Division 4 WBCA All-Star Game. Roncalli's Abigail Zurcher, a University of Dubuque recruit, scored a game-high 14 points for the South. St. Mary's Springs' Emily Mueller, a Northern Michigan recruit, added 11 points for the South squad. Shiocton's Tina Ubl, a Clarke University recruit, led the North with 11 points.  

Division 5: South 78, North 71

The South overcame a 16-point deficit to defeat the North 78-71 in the Division 5 WBCA All-Star Game. Benton's Emma Lawrence scored a game-high 18 points for the South. Bangor's Emma Wittmershaus, a UW-Milwaukee recruit, added 11 points for the South. Flambeau's Jordan Ludescher, a Michigan Tech recruit, netted a team-high 17 points for the North.
