Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of June 18 though 24. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: June 18-24

Kyle Abatto, Kettle Moraine baseball: Abatto helped the Lasers to a 2-0 record last week; posting a pair of wins over Waukesha North. He batted 3-for-4 with an RBI in the win over Waukesha North. Kettle Moraine is 15-5 overall and leads the Classic Eight with a 13-1 record. 

Gino D’Alessio, Pius XI Catholic baseball: D'Akessio helped the Popes go 3-0 last week; they earned a wins over Cudahy and Whitnall (twice). Gino is hitting .676 with a 1.412 OPS and 10 extra base hits for Pius XI Catholic, who is 16-2 overall and in first-place in the Woodland-West with a 10-1 record.

Tommy Howard, Menomonee Falls baseball: Howard helped the Indians to a 5-0 record last week. They posted wins over West Allis Central, Oak Creek, Franklin, and West Allis Hale (twice). He went 2-for-4 with a grand slam and 2 runs scored in their win over Franklin, 6-2. In Menomonee Falls' 9-1 win over Oak Creek, Howard went 1-for-3 with 2 RBI and a run scored. The Indians are 16-5 overall and tied for first in the Greater Metro with an 11-3 record. 

Andrew Neu, Kewaskum baseball: Neu pitched a 5-inning no-hitter in the Indians' 11-0 win over Port Washington. He tallied 8 strikeouts in the victory. Kewaskum went 3-0 last week; they are 14-4 overall and 7-2 (second-place) in the North Shore.

Taylor Struve, Plymouth baseball: Struve helped the Panthers to a 3-1 record last week; beating Sheboygan Lutheran, Waukesha West and Waukesha South, falling to Sheboygan Falls. He went 7-for-13 with 2 RBI and 4 runs scored. Plymouth is 16-5 overall and leads the EWC with a 13-2 record.
