Prep Props is our weekly look at the best individual statistical performances in the state, with the leaders in rushing yards, passing yards, and receiving yards. Prep Props is published every Monday morning.

Week 2 Rushing Leaders

East Troy rolled up more than 500 rushing yards in a 45-13 rout of Whitewater. Most of the damage was done by quarterback Jake Dessart, who only attempted two passes, but carried the ball 28 times for a state-high 351 yards and 3 touchdowns. Dessart averaged 12.5 yards per carry for the Trojans.

Week 2 Passing Leaders

The Shullsburg Miners had minus-17 yards rushing against Highland on Friday night, but the team remain in the game until the end thanks to a big-time passing performance by senior Jacob Berendes. He completed 26-of-44 passes for 356 yards and 3 touchdowns, though it wasn't enough, as Highland claimed a 26-22 victory.

Week 2 Receiving Leaders

Westosha Central senior wide receiver Cam Krueger had a solid 2017 campaign, hauling in 34 passes for 407 yards to earn Honorable Mention All-Conference recognition. The Falcons would fall to Woodstock North (IL), 42-20, last Friday, but Krueger put up big numbers, catching 7 passes for 217 yards and 3 touchdowns.
