Sun Prairie senior Kyle Hagerman has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of August 20 through 26 after a vote on WSN. 

There were 4,732 votes this week; Hagerman received 1,880 votes and Maddi Kealy of River Falls finished second with 1,813. 

Hagerman led the Cardinals to a 3-0 record in the first week of the 2018 season. He finished the week with 12 goals and 4 assists.

Hagerman scored 4 goals and added 2 assists in Sun Prairie's 8-4 win over Oak Creek, 4 goals and an assist in a 6-1 win over De Pere, and 4 goals and an assist in a 5-1 victory against Oregon. 

The Butler University recruit is currently leading the state in points and goals.
