Josh Jendusa of Mukwonago has been selected as the Week 2 Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. His big day helped the Indians top Kettle Moraine in a key Classic Eight showdown. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 2. A total of 6,241 votes were cast, as Jendusa's 2,326 were enough to edge second place Wyatt Boe of Barron, who tallied 2,223 votes.

The Indians haven't been to the playoffs the last three seasons, but after a tough 28-17 loss to Catholic Memorial to open the year, Mukwonago scored a big-time 31-28 win over D1 #6 Kettle Moraine when Max Wrasman booted a 33-yard field goal in the closing seconds. None of it would have been possible without a huge game from running back Josh Jendusa. He carried the ball 45 times for 322 yards and 3 touchdowns, adding a pair of catches for 29 yards as well.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named WisSports.net Player of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 3 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
