As part of the weekly preview I produce every Thursday showcasing the best games from around the state, I always highlight one contest as the Game of the Week. To expand on that, each week I'll post a poll where you -- the fans -- can vote for who you think will win the Game of the Week.

Week 5 Game of the Week: Bay Port (4-0, 4-0; D1 #7) at Pulaski (4-0, 4-0; D2 #5) -- Friday, 7 pm

Bay Port is the entrenched power in the FRCC, winning two straight unbeaten league championships, as the Pirates have won 22 consecutive conference contests. Pulaski has made some noise in the playoffs the last couple years, but hasn't been in the conference race, finishing 5-4 in the regular season in both 2016 and 2017. The Raiders brought back a considerable amount of talent and experience this season, and are proving to be a legitimate contender in the FRCC, already sporting close wins over Green Bay Southwest and Notre Dame. Dylan Hendricks has been one of the most important and impactful players in the state, with the fifth-most rushing yards in Wisconsin (844) while leading the team in passing as well. Bay Port needed to replace many of their key playmakers from a year ago, but they've done so very well, averaging more than 50 points per game behind a balanced and versatile offensive attack. The Pirates' schedule is very back-loaded, as the combined record of their first four opponents is currently 2-14. The combined record of their final five opponents is currently 14-6.
