Air National Guard Week 5 Team of the Week Nominees:

Bay Port - In the WSN Game of the Week, Bay Port's defense held fast against a powerful Pulaski ground game, while the balanced Pirates offense got the job done as well en route to a 28-0 win over the Red Raiders. Bay Port clinched an 18th straight WIAA postseason appearance, as Isaiah Gash rushed for 193 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries. Quarterback Jake Plummer completed 11-of-13 passes for 122 yards and added two rushing touchdowns as well.

Hilbert - Hilbert found itself down 22-0 against Howards Grove to begin the fourth quarter of a Big East Conference match-up on Friday night. The Wolves managed to score four times in the fourth to force overtime, and won it in the extra period, 29-28. Howards Grove actually scored first in OT, but their two-point conversion attempt was stopped. Ean Lau found the end zone on the ensuing Hilbert possession, and the extra point sent the visiting Wolves home with a victory.

Lancaster - The SWC finally got underway with conference action on Friday night, with some intriguing games on the docket, including Lancaster welcoming in unbeaten and D4 tenth-ranked Platteville. The Flying Arrows controlled things from early on, racing out to a 21-0 lead early in the second quarter before cruising home for a 35-12 victory. Hayden Knapp rushed for 100 yards and threw a touchdown, while Corey Hahn finished with 128 rushing yards and two scores. The defense picked off Platteville three times and limited the Hillmen to just 21 rushing yards in the game.

Port Washington - Port Washington dropped its first game of the year against Homestead, but the Pirates have now won four straight after a 35-25 victory over Hartford. After leading 22-10 at halftime, the Pirates found themselves trailing heading into the fourth quarter. Deron Spicer would score a pair of touchdowns on the ground, part of a big day for the college prospect, to lift Port to victory. Spicer finished with 23 carries for 180 yards and 3 touchdowns. J.J. Lippe had more than 100 yards receiving and returned a kickoff for a touchdown for Port Washington.

River Falls - River Falls had no letdown after defeating Menomonie last week, rolling to a 61-44 victory over defending Division 3 state champion Rice Lake. Senior quarterback Logan Graetz, one of the breakout stars of this season, completed 17-of-18 passes for 347 yards and 5 touchdowns, as all five scoring passes came before halftime. The ground game was strong as well, with Seth Kohel rushing for 185 yards and 4 touchdowns.
