Air National Guard Week 6 Team of the Week Nominees:

Johnson Creek - In a battle of Trailways-Small unbeaten teams, Johnson Creek nipped defending league champion Fall River 14-6. It was a scoreless game at halftime, but Anthony Purpi found the end zone for Creek late in the third quarter to put the Bluejays on top. Justin Swanson, who finished with 142 yards, took one for 57 yards midway through the fourth to give JC the cushion they'd need.

Kenosha Indian Trail - Indian Trail had won three straight Southeast Conference games, but it was against some of the weaker teams in the league. The Hawks made a big statement with a 13-6 victory over Oak Creek. Indian Trail broke a 3-3 tie early in the fourth quarter on a 24-yard field goal from Jake Laurent, then went up a couple scores when Jaylen Grant rambled 86 yards for a touchdown a few minutes later. The win clinches a playoff spot for the Hawks, who remain tied with Franklin and Racine Horlick for the SEC lead.

Kimberly - The Game of the Week once again ended up not being much of a game, as Kimberly dominated it's way to a 38-0 running clock victory over fourth-ranked Neenah. The offense did whateverit wanted to, racking up 410 yards while averaging more than nine yards per play. Meanwhile, the Papermakers' defense limited Neenah to -11 rushing yards on 16 carries and harassed quarterback Sam Dietrich into just 7-of-22 passing with a pair of interceptions. The five-time defending state champions are rolling once again.

Marquette - The Hilltoppers have embraced an increased sense of toughness this season, and it has paid off in a big way. That toughness was tested when Marquette trailed unbeaten top-ranked Division 2 squad Brookfield Central heading into the fourth quarter. However, Daeleon Brown-Williams would run for two, fourth quarter touchdowns, including the game-winner with less than a minute remaining as the Hilltoppers scored a 28-22 victory.

Neillsville/Granton - The program's 52-game conference losing streak pre-dated the formation of the co-op program, but that's all a thing of the past now. For the first time since September 23rd, 2011, Neillsville scored a Cloverbelt Conference victory, beating Altoona 14-7. Hunter Hand had a 58-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, and Thomas Selk provided the game-winning touchdown early in the third quarter on a 20-yard scamper.
