Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year. We have added an 8-Man Coaches Poll this season.

Division 1

Fond du Lac keeps on keepin' on as a unanimous #1 selection in the WisSports.net Division 1 Coaches Poll. The rest of the top eight remains unchanged from last week as well. Losses by Green Bay Preble and Racine Horlick dropped them out of the rankings, with Hudson and Verona moving in this week. Mukwonago is just outside the top ten.

Division 2

Waunakee is the top team in Division 2 for a second straight week. Menasha suffered its first loss of the season to West De Pere, dropping the Bluejays from fourth to ninth. West De Pere moves up a couple spots to seventh this week. Slinger re-enters the rankings in a tie for tenth with Waterford.

Division 3

Division 3 is awfully wide open this season, with just two unbeaten teams remaining, and the top-ranked squad, Catholic Memorial, already suffering one loss. Speaking of losses, there were quite a few of them, as Rice Lake, Plymouth, Onalaska, and East Troy all suffered defeats. There isn't exactly a lot of unbeaten or one-loss teams waiting in the wings, however, so all but East Troy remained in the poll this week. Ashland makes its debut at #10.

Division 4

Saint Croix Central remains the top-ranked team in Division 4, though Lodi lost a few votes after barely squeaking by Columbus, 10-8. The Blue Devils do hang on to the #2 spot, though, just ahead of a big group of unbeaten teams. No ranked teams lost last week, with the only change coming at the bottom, where Edgerton snuck into a tie for tenth with Saint Francis.

Division 5

The top of the Division 5 rankings remain unchanged, where Saint Mary's Springs is a unanimous #1 selection ahead of fellow unbeatens Lake Country Lutheran and Spencer/Columbus Catholic. Peshtigo suffered its first loss of the year, while New Holstein also went down, as both teams drop out of the poll this week. Cambridge and Prairie du Chien move in.

Division 6

It remains a close vote, but Iola-Scandinavia is leading the way in Division 6 once again, just ahead of Grantsburg and Regis. There were no changes in the poll this week, but there will be next week, as fourth-ranked Fennimore and fifth-ranked Mineral Point square off for the SWAL title.

Division 7

Edgar is again the top-ranked team in Division 7, but the big news is defending state champion Bangor getting knocked off by Potosi/Cassville. Bangor drops a couple spots to fourth this week, while Potosi/Cassville, who has a pair of losses, moves up from tenth to seventh. Reedsville suffered its first loss to Cedar Grove-Belgium but manages to stay in the rankings at #10.

8-Man Football

There was actually quite a bit of stability in 8-Man this week, with Newman Catholic a unanimous pick at the top. Oakfield shuffled forward a few spots, while the only loss amongst ranked teams was by Prairie Farm. The Panthers fell to Bruce, who promptly took their spot at #9 in the poll.
