Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year. We have added an 8-Man Coaches Poll this season.

Division 1

Fond du Lac keeps cruising on as the unanimous #1 team in Division 1, though there are a number of teams making noise behind the Cardinals. Neenah drops out of the poll after another blowout loss to Fond du Lac. Two new teams move into a tie for tenth place this week: Madison Memorial and suddenly red-hot Arrowhead, winners of five straight.

Division 2

Waunakee leads the way in Division 2 once again, followed by Homestead and Brookfield Central. There were no losses by ranked teams this week, just some minor shuffling at the bottom of the poll.

Division 3

Catholic Central continues to edge New Berlin Eisenhower in the D3 Coaches Poll. McFarland is third, followed by Greendale and Rice Lake in the top five. Mount Horeb/Barneveld had been in that group, but a loss to DeForest drops the Vikings to tenth this week.

Division 4

Saint Croix Central strengthens its hold on the Division 4 top spot, as there were a number of changes elsewhere in the rankings. Lodi (#2), Martin Luther (#3), and Wrightstown (#7) all suffered their first losses of the season, going to ninth, tenth, and out of the poll respectively. Racine St. Catherine's is now #2, followed by Little Chute, Northwestern, and Kiel. Winneconne is on top of the East Central Conference but the Wolves can't quite crack a deep top ten in D4.

Division 5

Saint Mary's Springs remains atop the Division 5 Coaches Poll, with Lake Country Lutheran nipping at their heels. Spencer/Columbus Catholic's loss to Regis only dropped the Rockets one spot to fourth this week, as three-time defending champion Amherst moves up to third. There were no other changes or losses in the top ten.

Division 6

Iola-Scandinavia is one again the top-ranked Division 6 team, though the advantage over Grantsburg and Regis remains tenuous. The only loss this week saw fifth-ranked Mineral Point beat fourth-ranked Fennimore, 14-12, as the Pointers move up to fourth and the Golden Eagles slide to sixth.

Division 7

Edgar continues to hold a commanding lead in the Division 7 poll, and there were several changes behind the Wildcats. Hilbert went down to Cedar Grove-Belgium for its first loss of the year, as the Wolves fall one spot to fourth this week. Johnson Creek also suffered its first loss at the hands of Lourdes Academy, going from fifth to seventh. Pittsville's first loss moved the team all the way out of the rankings, as the team that beat them, Almond-Bancroft, moves in this week.

8-Man Football

Like many of the other divisions, there wasn't much change in 8-Man Football rankings this week. Newman Catholic continues to lead Luck for the top spot. Florence dropped a couple positions after losing its first game of the year to North Central (MI).
