Level 1 Rushing Leaders

Elk Mound finished in a three-way tie for first place in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference during the regular season, but the Mounders received a a tough Level 1 playoff match-up against perennial power Stanley-Boyd. Elk Mound jumped out to an early 14-0 lead and held a 35-7 advantage at halftime before cruising home for a 41-23 victory over the Orioles, as senior running back Brady Redwine had a big game. He accounted for four, first-half touchdown runs, finishing with five overall as he carried the ball 32 times for 334 yards. He added 10 tackles over on defense as well.

Level 1 Passing Leaders

Greendale scored first in Friday's Level 1 match-up with Woodland-West foe Wisconsin Lutheran, but the Panthers found themselves down 21-7 early in the third quarter. Sanchez helped lead the comeback, throwing five touchdowns the rest of the way (three of them from 70+) as the Panthers roared back to claim a wild 42-37 victory after a back-and-forth fourth quarter that featured five lead changes. His 72-yarder to Masaeo Wooden late in the final period proved to be the game-winner, as he also hit Wooden for the two-point conversion. He finished 11-of-18 throwing the football for 384 yards and five touchdowns, adding a rushing score as well as completing a pass for a two-point conversion and booting four extra points.

Level 1 Receiving Leaders

Watertown unleashed a blitzkrieg on Whitefish Bay Friday night, racing out to a 41-0 halftime lead before claiming a 47-7 running clock victory. Kory Stas caught the first score and the last score for the Goslings, doing plenty of damage in between as well. He finished with six catches for 239 yards and four touchdowns, with three of the scores coming from at least 50 yards out. Not only that, he recorded an interception on defense as well.
