Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of October 15 through 21. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: October 15-21

Andrew Johnson, New Richmond boys soccer: Johnson was near unstoppable on the field in New Richmond's two regional matches this past week. In the regional semi-final 4-2 victory over Onalaska, Andrew netted 3 goals and an assist. Saturday, he again accounted for every goal in a 3-2 regional final win over River Falls. In that contest, Johnson had 2 goals and an assist.

Luke Willis, Kettle Moraine Lutheran boys soccer: Willis helped lead Kettle Moraine Lutheran to 2 victories and a regional championship this past week. In the regional semi-final game, Luke scored 3 goals and added on an assist in a 10-0 shutout of Madison Country Day Co-op. He followed that up by netting another 3 goals in the 6-1 regional final victory over Cedar Grove-Belgium.

Brady Redwine, Elk Mound football: Elk Mound finished in a three-way tie for first place in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference during the regular season, but the Mounders received a tough Level 1 playoff match-up against perennial power Stanley-Boyd. Elk Mound jumped out to an early 14-0 lead and held a 35-7 advantage at halftime before cruising home for a 41-23 victory over the Orioles, as senior running back Brady Redwine had a big game. He accounted for four, first-half touchdown runs, finishing with five overall as he carried the ball 32 times for 334 yards. He added 10 tackles over on defense as well.

Caroline Craig, Madison Edgewood girls volleyball: Craig led the second seeded Crusaders to three victories and a regional championship. She began by having 31 assists in a 3-0 sweep of Adams-Friendship. She followed that up with 26 assists, 8 digs and 5 aces in a 3-0 sweep of Prairie du Chien. She then had a whopping 63 assists in a 3-2 thriller over Platteville in the regional final matchup.

Jolie Larson, The Prairie School girls volleyball: Larson helped The Prairie School girl's volleyball team to its first regional championship in school history. She began by recording 8 kills and 11 assists in a 3-0 sweep over Milwaukee Lifelong Learning. She then had 14 kills and 4 blocks in a 3-0 sweep of Dominican. In the 3-0 regional final victory over Kenosha St. Joseph, Larson recorded 13 kills, and in the process surpassed the 1,000 kill milestone in her high school career.
