The AAA Player of the Week is back again for 2018. Voting is featured at the bottom of this article. Voting is open until Thursday at 4 pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word (hint: Social Media is a great way to do so). Users may vote once per day.

AAA Level 1 Player of the Week Nominees:

Ryan Daines, Westby - The Norsemen went back-and-forth with visiting Cumberland for much of the game on Friday night, but Daines proved to be too much for the Beavers to handle. He'd finish with 34 carries for 283 yards and four touchdowns as Westby posted a 32-25 victory. Daines also added a nine-yard reception plus five tackles on defense.

Jackson Kollath, Sussex Hamilton - Kollath was used relatively sparingly on offense for much of the year, but when the Chargers absolutely needed to win the last couple weeks, he's been a force in the backfield. On the road as a seven-seed taking on second-seeded Madison Memorial, Kollath carried the ball 29 times for 268 yards and four touchdowns as Sussex Hamilton scored a 35-21 victory. He added a 71-yard punt return touchdown as well, as the Chargers held a 21-0 halftime lead, with Kollath responsible for all three touchdowns before the break.

Ethan Pauly, Watertown - Watertown scored early on visiting Whitefish Bay Friday night, and the Goslings kept on scoring in quick bursts to post one of the most impressive results of the evening in a 47-7 victory. Watertown went up 21-0 after the first quarter, 41-0 at halftime, and enjoyed a 47-0 advantage before Whitefish Bay got its lone score. Pauly was a big-play machine, completing 10-of-12 passes with 361 yards and six touchdowns, averaging more than 30 yards per attempt.

Carter Robinson, Appleton North - Appleton North struggled against top teams in the regular season, but the Lightning had no problem with visiting Hudson on Friday, pulling away for a 55-19 victory. Senior quarterback Carter Robinson put up big numbers, completing 16-of-22 passes for 224 yards and four touchdowns, adding nine carries for 107 yards and a touchdown on the ground as well.

Masaeo Wooden, Greendale - Greendale scored first in Friday's Level 1 match-up with Woodland-West foe Wisconsin Lutheran, but the Panthers found themselves down 21-7 early in the third quarter. Wooden played a big role in the team's comeback, getting an interception to help jump start things. He'd also help the team recover an onside kick and had seven tackles on defense. His contributions were huge on offense as well. He caught three, fourth-quarter touchdown passes, including a 72-yarder that proved to be the game-winner. He finished with six catches for 207 yards and three touchdowns, adding a two-point conversion catch as well.
