Madison Edgewood junior Caroline Craig has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of October 15-21 after a vote on WSN.

There were 3,717 total votes this week. Craig received 1,138 votes, and Kettle Moraine Lutheran's Luke Willis finished second with 1,097 votes.

Caroline was a key part in helping the Madison Edgewood girls volleyball team to a regional championship this past week. In a 3-0 sweep of Adams-Friendship Tuesday, she recorded 31 assists. On Thursday, in a regional semi-final sweep of Prairie du Chien, Caroline had 26 assists, 8 digs, and 5 aces. She saved her best performance for the hotly contested 3-2 victory over Platteville in the regional final match. Caroline had an incredible 63 assists in the five-set thriller.

Caroline will help lead the Crusaders into a sectional semi-final matchup with McFarland tonight, October 25th.
