Air National Guard Level 2 Team of the Week Nominees:

Amherst - The three-time defending state champion Falcons dropped a couple games during the regular season but are rounding into playoff form once again. Amherst ran for more than 300 yards and posted 429 total yards of offense in a 37-19 win over Cedar Grove-Belgium in Level 2. Amherst's defense limited the Rockets to just 148 yards.

Pittsville - Almond-Bancroft pulled away from Pittsville for a 34-7 victory less than a month ago, as the Eagles scored 20 points in the final 11:38. Things were different the second time around, as Pittsville went out to a 17-0 lead and held on for a 17-7 victory, a swing of 37 points. Beau Merritt rushed for 179 yards on 37 carries for Pittsville, while Sam Hardinger ground out 62 yards and a couple touchdowns on 23 carries. The Panthers' defense picked off Almond-Bancroft three times in the game.

Reedsville - Reedsville and Hilbert did not meet up in the regular season due to the imbalanced scheduling in the Big Eight Conference. They got their chance to square off in the playoffs, and Reedsville rallied from a halftime deficit to score the final 25 points in a 31-14 victory. Quarterback Carson Schanilec accumulated 263 yards of offense with a rushing and passing touchdown, while Brandon Stelzer rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns.

Sevastopol - The Pioneers lost just one game during the regular season, a 26-6 defeat against Newman Catholic. Both teams made the first-ever 8-Player Football tournament, and Sevastopol got a shot at avenging that lone loss in the state semi-finals, and they didn't waste their chance. Sevastopol claimed its eighth straight win overall, beating Newman Catholic 50-28.

Waukesha West - Waukesha West has now scored road victories against the Southern Lakes Conference champion (Waterford) and runner-up (Wilmot). West trailed Waterford 14-10 at halftime on Friday but rallied for a 31-28 victory. Running back Sam Mikulak rushed for 199 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries, while Brooks Blount threw a pair of touchdowns.
