Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of October 29 through November 4 Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

Ivan Cuellar, Pius XI boys soccer: Cuellar, an All-State honorable mention pick from last season, helped lead Pius XI to a Division 3 state championship this past weekend. Friday in the 7-3 state semi-final win over Baldwin-Woodville, Ivan accounted for five goals as he notched three of his own and assisted on two others. In the championship matchup against McFarland, he assisted on two of the goals as Pius XI won 3-1 to claim gold.

Madison Conduah, Oregon boys soccer: Conduah, a first team All-Badger South selection this year helped lead Oregon to redeem its state finals loss to Whitefish Bay last season. Madison began by recording an assist in a 3-0 shutout of Holmen in the semi-finals. He then spearheaded the Oregon offense by netting two goals in the 3-1 victory over New Berlin Eisenhower to capture the Division 2 state championship.

Matias Dermond, University School boys soccer: Dermond helped the University School capture the Division 4 state title by scoring three goals over the two weekend games. In the 4-1 semi-final victory over Sturgeon Bay, Matias recorded a lone goal. In the 2-1 win over Amery in the championship, he scored both goals to propel the University School to gold.

Alayna Ritter, Lake Country Lutheran girls volleyball: Ritter was incredible at setting her teammates up for success this weekend as Lake Country Lutheran captured the Division 3 state championship. Alayna began by recording 40 assists, 14 digs, and an ace in the semi-final sweep of Grantsburg. She saved one of her best performances for last as Lake Country Lutheran handed Stratford its first loss of the season in a 3-2 thriller of a state final. Ritter had an incredible 61 assists on 69 of the teams kills in the five-set match.

Katie Winkler, East Troy girls volleyball: Winkler recorded 40 kills in two matches over the weekend to help lead East Troy to Division 2 gold. She first had 20 kills, three aces, and six digs in the semi-final sweep of Mosinee. Katie followed that up by adding another 20 kills, two aces and eight digs in the 3-0 sweep of Kettle Moraine Lutheran in the state final match.
