Tyler Tenner of Racine Lutheran has been selected as the AAA Level 3 Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. His big day helped the team hand Cambridge its first defeat and move to the state semi-finals. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Level 3. A total of 4,614 votes were cast, as Tenner's 1,614 votes were enough to edge second place Ryan Larson of Saint Croix Central, who tallied 1,273 votes.
Tenner was a beast against previously undefeated Cambridge, breaking tackle after tackle en route to 310 rushing yards and four scores on 31 carries, averaging a nice, round 10 yards per carry. He helped seal the game in the fourth quarter on defense with a forced fumble on defense that he returned 90 yards for a score.
