Mineral Point entered the season as the number one team in Division Four in the Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook, but the Pointers couldn't close things out Friday night at Wisconsin Dells, leaving the door open for the Chiefs at the end.

After Mineral Point missed a free throw with less than ten seconds remaining, Dells pushed the ball up the court, where it ended in the hands of Sammy Millard. After a pump fake, he fired away from the top of the key, as his three-pointer at the buzzer gave the Chiefs a 65-63 victory.
