Natalie McNeal, Germantown girls basketball: McNeal landed just short of recording a triple-double this past week and did record a double-double as Germantown went 2-0. Sam Vanderhoeven, Beaver Dam boys hockey: Vanderhoeven had a big scoring week on the ice for the Beaver Dam boys hockey team. Sam had an incredible 5 goals as well as assisting on the other lone goal for Beaver Dam.

Jacob Ognacevic, Sheboygan Lutheran boys basketball: Sheboygan Lutheran was pre-ranked number 1 in division 5 by WSN boy's basketball writer Mark Miller and a big reason for that is the play of Ognacevic. In an 88-64 win over Reedsville, Jacob was all over the court, scoring 35 points and collecting 20 rebounds. He then followed that up with a 29 points, 14 rebound performance in a 105-48 win over Salam. He shot a combined 23 of 30 (77%) in those two games.

Jake Poetzl, Marinette boys basketball: Marinette won a pair of close games this past week to a couple of quality opponents in Peshtigo and Little Chute. In the early week's 68-65 win over Peshtigo, Jake had 18 points and 9 rebounds. In the 61-58 win over Little Chute, Poetzl turned it up offensively as he went off for 30 points to go along with 6 rebounds. Jake is averaging over 20 points a game early on this season.
