Beaver Dam senior Sam VanderHoeven has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of November 26 through December 2.

There was a total of 3,753 votes cast this week. VanderHoeven finished with 1,492 votes. Germantown's Natlie McNeal finished second with a total of 1,113 votes.

Sam was a force to be reckoned with on the ice this past week for Beaver Dam. In a 5-1 win over Stoughton, he netted two goals as well as assisting on two more. He followed that up with an even more impressive performance in a 6-1 win over the Oshkosh Ice Hawks. Sam scored an amazing 5 goals while also assisting on the lone other goal in the contest.
