Waterloo senior Brittney Limoseth has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of December 17 through 23.

There was a total of 1,061 votes cast this week. Limoseth finished with 342 votes. Owen-Withee's Jennifer Wendler finished second with a total of 280 votes.

Brittney led the Waterloo girls basketball team to a 55-32 win over Horicon by filling the stat sheet. She had 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 steals. In doing so, Brittney passed the 1,000 point career milestone in her prep career. She followed that up with 18 points and 6 rebounds in a 66-48 win over Wisconsin Heights.

Brittney has led the Waterloo team to a 10-1 start to the season, and is averaging over 14 points per game.
