Through his first four matches, he got four pins and no match lasted longer than two minutes.
Caelan Givens, Chippewa Falls girls basketball: Caelan had a great week at the Middleton Holiday Shootout as she helped lead Chippewa Falls to a pair of impressive victories. First, Caelan scored a game high 30 points in a 71-65 win over Division 2, eighth-ranked Monroe. Givens, a UW-Green Bay recruit then added 26 points in a 55-47 win over Homestead.
Sydney Hilliard, Monroe girls basketball: Even though Monroe dropped a close one to Chippewa Falls 71-65, Sydney did her best to will her team to victory as she had 23 points and 7 rebounds. She followed that up by recording a double-double, 22 points and 11 rebounds, in a 68-53 win over Muskego. In the victory over Muskego, Sydney became Monroe girls basketball all-time leading scorer.
