Basketball Honors: Entered her senior year as a three-year letterwinner and a three-year starting point guard for coach Merlin Jones... helped the Cardinals to three conference championships, three regional championships, two sectional titles, and two state tournament appearances... helped the Cardinals capture the 2017-18 Division 5 state title... earned honorable mention all-conference as a sophomore and second-team all-conference as a junior... named to all-conference sportsmanship team as a sophomore... currently averaging 4.8 points, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game for the Cardinals, who are 5-5 overall and 3-1 in the Scenic Bluffs... 

Track & Field Honors: Enters her senior year as a three-year letterwinner for coach Kevin Kravik... helped the Cardinals to a conference title... has won nine individual conference titles... has qualified for the state meet 12 times, finishing with nine podiums, including two state titles in the triple jump, state championship in the 4x200 relay, a runner-up finish in the triple jump, and a runner-up finish in the 4x100 relay... named all-state in triple jump for all divisions as a junior... finished fifth at Indoor State as a sophomore and fourth as a junior in all divisions in triple jump... voted team MVP as a freshman, sophomore and junior... currently holds seven school records... committed to Winona State to compete in track & field... 

Favorite Sport (and why): "Track and Field is my favorite because I love how I get to challenge and push myself individually, but also get to experience the team aspect of it when running relays. The adrenaline rush I feel before, during, and after competing in events is something indescribable." 

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): "The best part of High School Sports is building friendships with different girls in each of the sports I participate in that will last a lifetime. Not only with my own teammates, but with athletes from other schools that I have competed against." 

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “We control two things in life, our attitude and effort.” 

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "There are two memorable moments from my career that stand out the most to me: Winning the Triple Jump State Championship by a quarter of an inch as a Freshman against my Conference rival and coming from behind to win the 4x200 relay State Championship as the anchor."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "The challenge of managing school, sports, and my social life that will help prepare me for my future. It’s cool to be able to practice and use different skills in all three sports. Each sport is unique in that it brings out different rivals that make each season exciting in their own way."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "Time management is a big part of being a three sport athlete and has been a challenge throughout my high school career. I have learned how tough it is to balance school, sports, and my social life."

Favorite Opponent (and why): "Hillsboro always gives us a good game whether it is in basketball or volleyball. We have battled for conference, regional, and sectional titles each year." 

Favorite Professional Team: Green Bay Packers

Favorite Professional Athlete: "I enjoy watching Aaron Rodgers having fun while competing at the highest level."

Favorite College Team: Wisconsin Badgers

Cumulative GPA: 4.23

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against (and why): "I have played basketball and ran track against Lexi Donarski from Aquinas. She is an all-around great athlete that is very competitive and hard to beat. She pushes me to perform at my highest level and is someone I look up to."

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): "Emma Wittmershaus was a teammate of mine that showed strong leadership and work ethic throughout her high school career. She always encouraged our team to keep fighting through adversity and never give up." 

College Plans: "I have accepted a scholarship to continue my track and field career at Division II Winona State University."

Activities Outside of Sports: "I enjoy spending time with friends and family and going shopping. I’m involved in National Honors Society and like to volunteer in my community."

I Find it Relaxing to: "Listen to music and hang with my friends and family."
