Tomah senior Madison Lindauer has been selected as the Athlete of the Week for the week of January 28 through February 3.

There was an incredible 7,704 votes cast this week. Madison  finished first with 2,822 votes. Darlington's Stryker Fitzsimmons finished in a close second with a total of 2,635 votes.

During last week's polar vortex, all of Wisconsin was in a constant state of ice and cold. Friday, as the weather brightened, Madison put on a record-setting performance for the Tomah girls basketball team. She scored a school record 39 points as Tomah beat Sparta 56-44 in Mississippi Valley Conference play.

Madison is committed to NCAA Division II Viterbo and has led Tomah to a 12-6 record.
