| Bio | A CNI Newspapers honorable-mention all-suburban, Waukesha Freeman second-team all-Waukesha County and first-team all-conference selection as a junior, Mathwig led the Woodland Conference – Blue Division in virtually every statistical category last season including receptions (35), receiving yards (590), receiving yards per game (65.6) and touchdowns (9). Other Sports: Basketball-averaged 13.9 points and 10.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore in route to first-team all-conference recognition. That was followed by a junior season in which he earned CNI Newspapers first-team all-suburban, first-team all-conference and the Woodland Conference – Blue Division Player of the Year honors after averaging 18.6 points and 9.2 points per game. |
