| Bio | A First Team All-Conference pick at tight end and Second Team choice as a defensive end, Benzschawel put together an outstanding season for the Blackhawks. A traditional in-line tight end with ideal size, Benzschawel displays soft hands in the passing game and can engulf defenders as a blocker. He led the team in receiving last season with 13 catches for 210 yards and a pair of scores. He certainly has potential on the defensive side of the ball as well, where his size and athletic ability allow him to play across the line of scrimmage frequently. |
