| Bio | Gillie was voted to the all-Milwaukee City Conference first team after averaging 14.8 points and helping Milwaukee Hamilton to a 15-8 record under coach Pat Bell. Gillie had a career-high 26 points in a victory over Milwaukee North, and also had 23 points in a win over Milwaukee Washington and 21 in a triumph over Delafield St. John's Military Academy. Gillie and Learic Davis of Milwaukee Bradley Tech were the lone sophomores named the City Conference first team. |
