Milwaukee King's Sydnee Roby has been selected as the top senior Post as part of the WSN Senior Basketball Awards

Roby's size and strength isn't something we see very much of in the state. If she gets to the block with the ball she is almost impossible to stop. Sydnee, a 6-foot-3 center, is also strong on defense with her ability rebound, block and alter shots.

The University of Miami recruit averaged 14.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, a steal and 1.8 blocks per game for coach Craig Machut and the Generals.

Roby led the Generals to the Milwaukee City-Gold title and Division 1 sectional final appearance before falling to Mukwonago, 62-55.

She scored a career-best 29 points in Milwaukee King's 83-55 win over Milwaukee Vincent on February 18. Sydnee shot 63.1 percent from the floor, for the season.

Roby led the Generals to a state tournament appearance as a sophomore and a sectional final appearances as a junior and senior.

She finishes her career with 1,561 points, 1,009 rebounds, 207 assists and 321 blocks.
