Kettle Moraine Lutheran senior Samuel Ehlke has been selected as the rSchoolToday Athlete of the Week for the week of August 21-27 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 4,474 total votes this week. Ehlke topped all vote getters with 1,783 votes. Bloomer's Katlyn Jones came in second with 1,344 votes.

Ehlke was phenomenal on both sides of the ball this past Friday as Kettle Moraine Lutheran beat Watertown Luther Prep 26-6. The senior running back/defensive back rushed 14 times for 188 yards and two scores. He averaged 13.4 yards per carry and had touchdown scores of 63 and 80 yards. Defensively Ehlke was just as impressive, recording a team high 17 tackles and adding an interception to boot.

Kettle Moraine Lutheran and Ehlke head to Waupun on Friday to take on the Warriors.
