Week 3 WisSports.net Football Coaches Poll
Week 2 WisSports.net Football Coaches Poll
Week 1 WisSports.net Football Coaches Poll

Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year.

Division 1

Big news in the big division as Mukwonago has narrowly taken over the top spot in the WisSports.net Division 1 Coaches Poll, knocking Kimberly down one position to second. Also moving down is Middleton, who lost to Verona in an important Big Eight Conference showdown. The Cardinals slide from third to ninth, with Verona moving up from tenth to seventh. Oak Creek is new this week at number ten, while Neenah drops out after dropping its first game of the year to Kaukauna.

Division 2

No change in the top ten this week, with Kettle Moraine on top of the rankings again. Waunakee is second, followed by Brookfield Central, Kaukauna, and Badger. Losses by Beaver Dam and River Falls drop both teams out of the rankings, with new teams this week being Sun Prairie East and Homestead at ninth and tenth, respectively.

Division 3

Port Washington is again the top team in Division 3, followed by Mount Horeb/Barneveld, who did pick up some votes in the poll this week. Pewaukee dropped a second game at the hands of Catholic Memorial, and it drops the Pirates to sixth this week. Also moving down is West Bend East, who falls from sixth to ninth after a loss to Hartford.

Division 4

Catholic Memorial is on a winning streak (two) and stays atop the Division 4 rankings once again. Lodi is second, but Ellsworth's 49-0 shellacking at the hands of Baldwin-Woodville shakes up the poll a bit. Ellsworth drops from third to eighth, with Baldwin-Woodville up one spot to fourth. Little Chute moves into the top five. Speaking of moving in, Platteville enters at seventh after a big win over Brodhead/Juda last week. Campbellsport is also new at tenth, as Prescott and Saint Croix Central fall out of the poll.

Division 5

Columbus dominated Lake Mills in the Thursday Night Throwdown last week and the Cardinals are again a unanimous number one in the WisSports.net Division 5 Coaches Poll. Brodhead/Juda was knocked off by Platteville in a low-scoring game and the Cardinals dip from second to fifth. Northwestern moves up to second this week, followed by Prairie du Chien and Aquinas.

Division 6

Kenosha St. Joseph remains the top team in Division 6, but Saint Mary's Springs picked up a few more votes this week and is close behind. Stratford narrowly stays in front of Mondovi for third, with Darlington fifth once again. The top eight is unchanged from a week ago, but Pardeeville moves in to tenth after Cedar Grove-Belgium suffered its second loss of the season.

Division 7

It's the Scenic Bluffs one and two again this week, as Cashton remains number one while Bangor is second. The rest of the top six remains the same. Reedsville flip-flops with Black Hawk/Warren (IL) at seven and eight.

8-Player

Gilman stays on top of the Coaches Poll this week, with Three Lakes/Phelps number two and McDonell Central number three. Clayton and Thorp move up one spot after Owen-Withee feel to McDonell Central last week and drops from fourth to seventh. Gillett is new in this week's rankings.
