Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year.

Division 1

After seeing Classic Eight teams Mukwonago and Muskego nudge ahead of them the last few weeks, Kimberly has re-taken the top spot in the Division 1 Coaches Poll. Arrowhead and Marquette drop after losses to Mukwonago and Sussex Hamilton respectively, while Middleton falls out altogether. Neenah re-enters this week after downing Appleton North last week.

Division 2

Kettle Moraine is still atop the Division 2 rankings this week, with the top six unchanged. Brookfield Central falls out after losing a second game on the season, as Westosha Central enters in the number ten spot. A huge showdown with Badger could await in Week 9 for the Falcons.

Division 3

Port Washington is still number one in Division 3, but it was once again extremely close with Mount Horeb/Barneveld. The Pirates of Port Washington will have plenty to worry about this week in an unbeaten showdown with fourth-ranked Plymouth. New Berlin West falls down one spot to sixth after a loss to Catholic Memorial, and Onalaska re-enters the rankings after winning four straight following a couple non-conference losses to begin the year.

Division 4

Catholic Memorial is still the strong favorite atop the Division 4 coaches poll, as the Crusaders have been playing much better the last month and are close to getting Corey Smith back from injury. Lodi is second, facing a Capitol Conference showdown with Columbus this Friday. The top six is unchanged, but there was plenty of movement in the lower part of the rankings. Little Chute and Campbellsport drop out this week, replaced by Racine St. Catherine's and Lakeside Lutheran.

Division 5

Very few changes in the Division 5 coaches poll this week, with Columbus leading the way on top. The Cardinals have a huge game this weekend against D4, second-ranked Lodi. Stanley-Boyd enters the poll this week after Neillsville/Granton drops out.

Division 6

The top four are unchanged this week, led by Kenosha St. Joseph in the number one position. Lancaster lost a heartbreaker to Platteville, dropping the Flying Arrows out of the top five and to ninth this week. Westby drops out of the rankings after its first loss to Aquinas, with Grantsburg and Weyauwega-Fremont both undefeated and tying for tenth this week.

Division 7

Top-ranked Cashton defeated second-ranked Bangor on Friday in a huge Scenic Bluffs Conference showdown. The loss drops Bangor to sixth this week, as Edgar moves up to second, followed by Pepin/Alma, Black Hawk/Warren, and Spring Valley. A second loss this year by Regis, to Mondovi, tumbles the Ramblers to tenth, while Johnson Creek moves into the poll this week.

8-Player

Gilman solidified its spot atop the 8-player rankings with a win over Owen-Withee, who dropped out of the poll this week. McDonell Central moves slightly ahead of Three Lakes/Phelps for second. In addition to Owen-Withee, Siren falls out this week, as Gibraltar and North Crawford are new to the poll.
