Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year.

Kimberly retains a narrow lead atop the Division 1 rankings, followed closely by Muskego. Franklin is again third, with the rest of the top seven unchanged from last week. Stevens Point makes a big move after taking control of the VFA, and Bay Port enters the rankings, winning five straight after dropping a couple early non-conference games.

Not much for changes in the upper part of the Division 2 rankings this week, as Kettle Moraine is still a heavy favorite in the number one spot, followed in the top five by Waunakee, Badger, New Richmond, and Kaukauna. La Crosse Central and Menomonee Falls are both new this week, as Menomonie and Westosha Central fall out of the poll.

Port Washington made a significant move to widen the voting gap over Mount Horeb/Barneveld at the top of the D3 rankings, as the Pirates dominated former number four Plymouth in an East Central Conference showdown. The loss dropped Plymouth to ninth this week. Similarly, Notre Dame made some ground in the vote though still comes in third after taking down former number five Menasha. The Bluejays slip to tenth this week.

Catholic Memorial is still the top-ranked team in Division 4 by a good amount, but it's no longer unanimous, as Lodi's impressive 28-0 win over Columbus closed the gap a bit. Winneconne moves into the poll this week after Racine St. Catherine's dropped out.

Columbus suffered its first loss of the year in a 28-0 shutout to Lodi, and it dropped the defending Division 4 state champion Cardinals out of the top spot in Division 5. Aquinas, the two-time defending D5 champs, ascends to the number one position, with Columbus second. In addition, former fourth-ranked Wittenberg-Birnamwood lost to Stratford and dips to eighth. Southern Door and Brodhead/Juda move into the top five.

Only one significant change in Division 6, where Marshall was knocked off by Cambridge and slips from fifth to eighth. Kenosha St. Joseph is the number one team once again, followed by Saint Mary's Springs.

Cashton continues to dominate the voting in Division 7, but Edgar is hot on their heels and playing very well since an opening loss to Ellsworth. The first losses of the season for Black Hawk/Warren and Spring Valley drop those teams in the rankings to seventh and eighth respectively. Reedsville and Bangor are into the top five.

Gilman and McDonell Central continue to occupy the top spots in the 8-player poll, but third-ranked Three Lakes/Phelps went down to number six Florence, causing some changes. Three Lakes/Phelps slips to eighth this week, while Florence rises to fourth. Siren moves back into the rankings this week.
