Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this year. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year.

Division 1

Big news in the biggest division, where defending champion and top-ranked Kimberly suffered its first loss of the year to Kaukauna, dropping the Papermakers to fourth this week. Muskego takes over the number one spot, as the Warriors have a huge game to close the regular season against defending Division 2 champion and top-ranked Kettle Moraine. Mukwonago drops down a few spots to seventh after falling to Kettle Moraine.

Division 2

Kettle Moraine downed Mukwonago in a key Classic Eight tilt, setting up a huge number one versus number one showdown against Muskego for the league crown. The other big news in Division 2 was Kaukauna's win over previous D1 number one Kimberly, which bumped the Galloping Ghosts one spot higher to fourth in Division 2 this week, the top-ranked team with one loss and ahead of unbeaten New Richmond. Waukesha West is new to the poll this week.

Division 3

Port Washington is still the top team in Division 3, followed closely by Mount Horeb/Barneveld and Notre Dame. The only loss in the top ten last week was Medford's defeat at the hands of Mosinee, but it only cost the Raiders one spot, dropping from seventh to eighth.

Division 4

No changes in the top five of the Division 4 WisSports.net Football Coaches Poll this week, but plenty of movement in the bottom half of the rankings. Saint Croix Central beat Baldwin-Woodville and those teams swap in the six and seven spots. Teams eight through ten also lost, with just Berlin hanging into the poll this week at number nine. Lakeside Lutheran and Winneconne drop out, with Racine St. Catherine's and Kiel moving in.

Division 5

Aquinas keeps the number one position, with Columbus right behind, though Winnebago Lutheran saw a good amount of support heading into its Week 9 showdown with unbeaten Saint Mary's Springs. Southern Door (loss to Kewaunee; now #6) and Brodhead/Juda (loss to Prairie du Chien; now #10) drop out of the top five.

Division 6

Kenosha St. Joseph is still number one in Division 6, followed by Saint Mary's Springs. Kewaunee hammered Southern Door in a matchup of unbeaten Packerland teams and it helped the Storm jump all the way from sixth to third, one spot ahead of defending D6 champion Stratford. Auburndale went down to Edgar in a 41-0 shutout and drops from fifth to tenth. Grantsburg slides up a few spots as well after beating Hurley.

Division 7

Everyone in last week's Division 7 Coaches Poll won, resulting in very few changes this week. Cashton is still on top, just ahead of Edgar. The only minor shuffling this week sees Johnson Creek leap-frog Spring Valley for the eight spot.

8-Player

Gilman remained unbeaten and on top of the 8-Player Coaches Poll with a win over Thorp, who dropped from fifth to tenth this week. The rest of the teams in the bottom half of the rankings all moved up a spot, but otherwise there wasn't much change in the Week 8 poll.
