Columbus at Aquinas

Defending Division 4 state champion Columbus against two-time defending state champion Aquinas...it doesn't get much better than that. Neither has been challenged too much in the playoffs yet, with Columbus going on the road to defeat Prairie du Chien 33-7 last week while Aquinas dominated Watertown Luther Prep 46-22.

Badger at Kettle Moraine

Unbeaten Southern Lakes Conference champion Badger against unbeaten Classic Eight Conference champion Kettle Moraine. Badger defeated Classic Eight foe Waukesha West last week, rattling off 28 straight points in the second half to defeat the Wolverines. Not to jinx it too much for Coach Hensler and the Badgers, but they've gone out the last two years to Classic Eight teams, including Kettle Moraine in 2021. The Lasers are looking every bit the Division 2 favorite again after winning it all last year.

Saint Mary's Springs at Kewaunee

As a fan, you love big-time matchups in the playoffs, and this unbeaten showdown is a treat in Level 3. Kewaunee was a Division 5 state semi-finalist last year, falling to eventual champ Aquinas, and the Storm are unbeaten and one of the more dominant teams in the state this season. Saint Mary's Springs is looking to get to at least the state semi-finals for the 15th consecutive year.

Notre Dame at Mount Horeb/Barneveld

Notre Dame's only loss this season came against Waunakee, as the 30-7 decision was the closest game the Warriors have had all season. The Trojans enter averaging more than 48 points per game, while undefeated Mount Horeb/Barneveld counters with a strong offense of its own, putting up more than 41 points per game.

Franklin at Muskego

These teams often get put in the same grouping, and this is the fifth postseason matchup between these teams since 2017. Muskego has won the previous four times, including a 42-18 victory last season.
