Below are the rSchoolToday Athlete of the Week Nominees for this week. Voting is open until Thursday at 2:00 pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

Athlete of the Week Nominees: February 12-18

Logan Bahr, Luther

Bahr had an exceptional week for the Luther boys basketball team, leading them to three wins and setting a record along the way. The senior forward started his week with 31 points, eight rebounds, and six assists in a 91-63 win over Black River Falls. Bahr, a 6'7" force in the Coulee Conference then had 38 points, nine rebounds, four steals, three assists, and two block in an 82-50 win over Viroqua. He finished his week with 38 points, 14 rebounds, and two steals in a 73-46 win over Hillsboro. On the week Bahr shot 67% from the field, 73% from three, and 97% from the free throw line. To top it all off, Bah become the program's all-time leading scorer on Saturday, as he now sits at 1,474 in his high school tenure.

Emmalee Mann, Cochrane-Fountain City

Mann led Cochrane-Fountain City to a pair of Dairyland conference wins and a clinch of the Dairyland-Small title this past week. In a 64-40 victory over Melrose-Mindoro, the St. Mary's MN commit finished with 20 points, seven steals, three rebounds, and three assists. Mann then had 29 points, five steals and three assists in a 67-28 whomping of Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran. Mann, a senior, has led Cochrane-Fountain City to a 22-1 regular season record and is just 27 points away from 1,000 in her career.

David Mayer, D.C. Everest

Mayer competed in four events at the WIAA Division 1 State Meet for boys swim and dive, winning the two individual events he competed in and anchoring two relays. The senior swimmer took home gold in the 50-yard freestyle event, winning with a time of 20.34 seconds, ranking seventh all-time at the state meet. Mayer then won the 100-yard freestyle swim in a time of 44.29, which was fifth fastest in state meet history. Mayer also anchored the 200-yard freestyle relay that finished third and the 200-yard medley relay that finished fourth at the state meet.

Audrey Norville, Saint Mary Catholic

Saint Mary Catholic clinched the Big East-North conference title outright this past week with a victory over Hilbert and then proceeded to knock off previously one-loss Oostburg in a Big East crossover game. Norville was a key contributing factor to those games. In the 68-13 blowout win over Hilbert, the Black Hills State commit scored 25 points and added seven rebounds and seven steals. In the big-time matchup with Oostburg, she took the back seat in scoring, but did all the other work in the 72-69 victory. Norville finished with ten points, ten rebounds, and six assists. On top of all that, Norville crossed the 1,000 point mark in her prep playing career.

Jack Sullivan, Nicolet

Sullivan captured his fourth straight state title in one event and a second straight in another as he helped was the catalyst for the Nicolet boys swim and dive team to finish fourth at the WIAA Division 2 State Meet. His first individual title was in the 200-yard freestyle where he broke his own record from last season. The senior swimmer finished the race in 1:37.80, winning the event for the fourth straight year. He then took home gold and broke another record in the 100-yard freestyle event. Sullivan finished the race in 44.57, half a second better than the previous record from 1995. Sullivan also anchored both the 200-yard medley and 400-yard freestyle relay teams that both finished third.
