Saint Thomas more lost by one run in extra innings in the Division 2 State Championship game last season and are pegged as the favorite coming into the 2024 season. Iowa commit Kyle Alivo leads a returning pitching staff that will have six of the top seven arms back including seniors Sam Mommer and Johnny Kendzierski, junior Manny Sostre, and sophomore Brayden Alivo. A loaded pitching staff and batting rotation that returns seven players that hit over .300 give the Cavaliers the early season nod atop the rankings.
Mosinee, Denmark, Jefferson, and Whitnall were picked to round out the top five in Division 2.
