It is a cool and rainy day in South Central, Wisconsin; where thoughts are turning to the beginning of high school football practice along with other fall sports.



It is also a good time to release a list of college commitments for statewide baseball players for the 2010 college baseball season. If you know someone who should be this list, send an email to: [email=dsemrau@madison.com]dsemrau@madison.com[/email]



We ll keep updating this list through the fall as colleges wrap up their recruiting classes with late-summer signings.



UW-Milwaukee announced earlier this week the addition of five players who will compete for the Panthers next season.



Milwaukee head coach Scott Doffek announced Wednesday that Jordan Guth of Onalaska, Wis., Jim Lundstrom of Crete, Ill., Drew Pearson of Racine, Wis., Kyle Spurley of Linden, Wis., and Mark Strey of Marshfield, Wis., will all enroll at UWM and participate next season.



Also, with summer winding down, upcoming 2010 high school graduates will soon start making commitments for the 2011 season. Drop me an e-mail when you hear of a commitment and I will add them to the 2011 recruiting list.
