I got my start in sports: playing tee-ball when I was four years old. I also played youth basketball and soccer.

I wish I could play: football.

Baseball highlights: Named 2009 Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association Summer State Player of the Year ... North Shore Conference, Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association District and Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Player of the Year … earned first-team all-state, all-conference and all-district honors … nominated for all-state honors … finalist for WBCA Summer State Player of the Year … as a junior, named first team all-state, all-district and all-conference … earned honorable mention all-conference honors as sophomore and freshman.

2009 stats: Batted .504 (59-for-117) with 45 runs scored, 13 doubles, eight home runs and 51 RBI … 17-of-17 in stolen bases … recorded .543 on-base percentage … pitching stats: 5-0 record with 1.75 ERA in seven appearances, including six starts, covering 32 innings with 41 strikeouts.

2009 team stats: Finished 27-5 overall, 13-5 in North Shore Conference (second place) … advanced to WIAA Summer State quarterfinals
