Favorite subjects: social studies, psychology

Position: outfielder

I got my start in sports: when I was four years old playing coach-pitch baseball. My dad was my coach from the time I was seven. I also played youth football and basketball and wrestled for one year in sixth grade.

I wish I could: play hockey and wrestle.

Baseball highlights: Three-time letterwinner and two-year starter as outfielder … Blugolds advanced to 2009 WIAA Division 3 state semifinals and finished with 23-8 overall record, including a 7-5 record and third-place finish in the Mississippi Valley Conference … earned Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association honorable mention all-state, first-team all-district, second-team all-conference and first-team all-city honors as a senior … honorable mention all-state, first-team all-district, all-conference and all-city as a junior.

2009 stats: Batted .458 (44-for-96) with 49 runs scored, 14 stolen bases, 10 doubles, five home runs and 49 RBI … finished with a .563 on-base percentage and .719 slugging percentage … drew 21 walks and was hit by a pitch six times.

Other sports highlights: Three-time letterwinner in football … started at tight end as a sophomore and junior and at quarterback as a senior … earned second-team all-conference honors as a junior and first-team conference honors as a senior … two-time letterwinner in basketball … was a reserve on 2008 Division 3 state title team and sixth man on 2009 Division 3 state runner-up team.

I like playing baseball because: it is so competitive and fun and is a team sport.

Other activities: enjoy hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling.

Team bonding moments: road trip to Illinois-Chicago to play two games and stay in hotel and trip to state and spending time together.

Baseball superstition: I like to wear clean clothes when I play.

I like Aquinas High School because: of its athletic talent in all classes, it s a small school with small class sizes and great fan support.

Post-high school plans: attend UW-Oshkosh to study criminal justice and play baseball.

Career goal: law enforcement

Outlook on life: " Never quit. Live life to the fullest."

 

Did you know?
Bobby earned eight varsity letters, three each in football and baseball and two in basketball. He competed in six state tournaments, three in baseball, two in basketball and one in football, winning a state title in baseball as a sophomore and in basketball and football as a junior.
