2009 No-Hitters

Mike Jacobs and Aaron Jones, Beloit Turner:  4/1 vs. South Beloit (IL); 5-inning game; Jacobs pitched 3 innings, Jones 2; Jones also hit two home runs in the same inning

Kyle McHugh, Rosholt:  4/2 vs. Tri-County; struck out 20 of 21 batters; also hit home run

Donte Wilmet and Jon Schlemmer, West De Pere:  4/4 vs. Ashwaubenon

Tyler Bauman, Albany:  4/4 vs. Faith Christian (Williams Bay); struck out 16

Chris Wolf, Johnson Creek:  4/4 vs. Lake Mills; allowed 1 run due to 4 walks and 4 Johnson Creek errors

Ben Heller, Whitewater:  4/7 vs. Palmyra-Eagle; allowed one walk, which ended up scoring as an earned run

Braden Hunkins, Almond-Bancroft:  4/7 vs. Menominee Indian; 5-inning game

Jared Hilbert and Josh Davidson, Barron:  4/7 vs. Osceola; Hilbert pitched 4 innings, Davidson 2; 6-inning game

Bryan Helberg, Nick Meyer, Ryan Gilles, Medford:  4/7 vs. Ladysmith; Meyer pitched 3 innings and struck out all 9 batters faced while going 2 for 3 with a triple, home run, and 6 RBI; Helberg struck out 8 batters, Gilles 1

Cody Uecke, Mike Peterson and Jeff Hemieleski, Marinette:  4/7 vs. Peshtigo; final score of 13-3 in 5 innings

Brett Fredricks and Mike Davis, Janesville Craig:  4/7 vs. Beloit Memorial; Fredricks went 6 innings, Davis 1; final score of 4-1 as only Beloit run was unearned

Connor Vredeveld, Lakeside Lutheran:  4/8 vs. New Glarus; 5-inning game

Greg Button and Nate Burian, Eau Claire North: 4/11 vs. Tomah; 5-inning game as North won 16-0; Button went 4 innings, Burian 1

Brent Dobratz and Josh Coyer, Wisconsin Rapids:  4/11 vs. Tomah; 4-inning game as Rapids won 17-0

Alex Petroski and Nate Meier, Park Falls:  4/14 vs. Auburndale; 5-inning game; Petroski pitched first 3 innings, Meier the last 2

Ryan Bloom and Jeb Jenkins, Boyceville:  4/14 vs. Spring Valley; Bloom, a freshman, threw 6 innings, Jenkins 1; the catcher in the game was also a freshman; Bloom threw a 2-hitter in his next outing

Casey Plemon, Park Falls:  4/16 vs. Medford; final score of 11-1 as lone run was unearned; Plemon also hit a home run

Reese Stariha, Northwood:  4/16 vs. Clear Lake

Reggie Kamps, Belmont:  4/16 vs. River Ridge; 5-inning game

Lucas Warren, La Crosse Central:  4/17 vs. Eau Claire Memorial; Warren struck out 11

Todd Trautsch, Seneca:  4/20 vs. North Crawford; Trautsch struck out 12

Jordan Greenland, La Farge:  4/23 vs. North Crawford; Greenland struck out 9; led off the game with a home run and hit a grand slam in the second inning; as you can see above, North Crawford was no-hit in back-to-back games

Colton Laird, Shullsburg/Benton:  4/27 vs. Belmont; final score of 3-1; Laird struck out 12 but also walked 5

Trevor Morning, Bloomer:  4/30 vs. Cumberland; 5-inning game; perfect game as no Cumberland players reached base

Josh Honzik, De Pere:  4/30 vs. Notre Dame; 5-inning game; Honzik struck out 7

Eric Grom, Peshtigo:  4/30 vs. Gillett; 5-inning game; struck out 9

Mike Verbeten, Wrightstown:  4/30 vs. Mishicot; 6-inning game

Dylan Vassar, De Soto:  4/30 vs. Wauzeka; Vassar, a junior, struck out 7; allowed no walks

Jordan Jess, Ripon:  5/2 vs. Berlin; Jess struck out 17

Cody Schreiner, Jefferson:  5/2 vs. East Troy; 5-inning game; final score of 11-1 as four Jefferson errors allowed an unearned run to score; Schreiner struck out 9

Curtis Morgan, Green Lake:  5/4 vs. Cambria-Friesland; 5-inning perfect game

Brad Stroik, Stevens Point:  5/7 vs. Nekoosa; 6-inning game; allowed no walks, struck out 7; three SPASH errors are all that kept him from a perfect game

Dustin Bune, Spring Valley:  5/7 vs. Plum City; final score of 1-0

Jake Spence, Milwaukee King:  5/7 vs. Milwaukee Bradley Tech;

Ben Fredrick, Hustisford/Dodgeland:  5/8 vs. Williams Bay; struck out 8

Matt Marzalak, Oregon:  5/11 vs. Monroe; 5-inning game

Tyler Frohwirth, Brookfield Academy:  5/12 vs. Messmer; 5-inning game; Frohwirth struck out 7

Aaron Schwiesow, Eric Raspotnik, and Mitch Mountain, Ashland:  5/14 vs. Washburn; 5-inning game

Michael Schneider, West De Pere:  5/16 vs. Oconto Falls; struck out 11 in the second game of a doubleheader

Eric King, Fond du Lac:  5/18 vs. Kaukauna; 5-inning game; struck out seven

Jacob Wenzel, Oconto:  5/18 vs. Gibraltar; struck out 9

A.J. Gaura, Bay Port:  5/21 vs. Green Bay East; 5-inning game

Nate Anschutz, Sturgeon Bay:  5/21 vs. Southern Door; 5-inning game; struck out 10

Alec Jalovec, Oshkosh Lourdes:  5/21 vs. Montello; 5-inning game; struck out 11

Kody McHugh and Derek Plath, Mosinee:  5/21 vs. Wittenberg-Birnamwood; 5-inning game; McHugh pitched three innings, Plath pitched two

Kyle Krohn, Pittsville:  5/26 vs. Prentice; final score of 7-1 as an unearned run scored in the second inning

Adam Winistorfer, Eau Claire Memorial:  5/26 vs. Hudson; 2-0 win clinched an outright Big Rivers Conference title for the Old Abes; struck out 11

Scott Schuchhardt, Neenah:  5/28 vs. Kaukauna; Rockets won 1-0

Kurt Gehrman, Amery:  5/29 vs. Saint Croix Falls; Amery won 1-0 in first round of WIAA spring baseball playoffs

Ethan Cook, Frederic: 5/29 vs. Birchwood; first round of WIAA spring baseball playoffs; struck out 10

Chris Ritter, Madison Edgewood:  6/3 vs. Evansville; Edgewood won 6-0 to secure regional championship

Brett Fredricks, Janesville Craig:  6/5 vs. Beloit; regional final; 5-inning game;

Travis Sindles, Wimot: 6/5 vs. Elkhorn; 5-0 Regional final win, 9 strikeouts in 7 innings

Eric Dickmeyer, Howard's Grove:  6/19 vs. Sheboygan Lutheran/Kohler; 5-inning game

Michael Woltring, Oostburg:  6/26 vs. Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah; 5-inning perfect game; struck out 10 of the 15 batters he faced.

Korey Iberg, Alma:  7/2 vs. Independence/Gilmanton; 5-inning game
