The Marquette University High School boys volleyball team has been quite dominant since joining the WIAA in 2000, and ten years later, little has changed for the Hilltoppers. MUHS earned the top spot in the inaugural 2010 coaches poll, conducted by Wauwatosa East coach John Simon and voted upon by boys coaches from across the state.

The Hilltoppers entered this week's rankings just above a powerful Catholic Memorial squad and 2009 State finalist Nicolet, who ranked second and third respectively. Wauwatosa East and Franklin rounded out the top five.
