In what was a two-team race at the top of John Simon's state-wide Boys Volleyball Coaches Poll, Catholic Memorial surged to the top spot in the final week, finishing just eight votes ahead of rival frontrunner Marquette. Nicolet high-jumped Tosa East for the third spot, while Tosa West moved up three spots to No. 6 this week. Shorewood held onto its No. 10 spot in the poll, just behind Waukesha West and Westosha Central.
